Bought this set last year on BF for $66. This is a great deal on an excellent set with a well made carry case. I've used it to change the brakes on several cars.

I got a similar DeWalt set for 80 earlier this year and I think this is a much better price for better quality Taiwanese tools.

How does this compare to Harbor Freight Quinn set?

Depends on what you need the tools for. If you have existing ratchets and want to have sockets up to 21mm, this kit is great and a well known brand, the black and big numbers look great too. This GW kit does not offer all three ratchet drives like the Quinn set, so the Quinn set would be a nice starter kit. Both kits offer lifetime warranty; most sockets don't fail but the gearing in ratchets may fail depending on use.

i pair this with my m12 stubby impact. strong enough for 95% of tasks, and super compact.

I picked it up for $64 over a year ago. I was happy with that price and this is even better.

Been pretty happy with this set the few times I've used it so far. I paid $65 a year and a half ago for it.

The case has both metal clasps and those plastic clips to hold it closed.

I have a 1/2" socket set....it's rarely used.
95% of the stuff, including car/truck 3/8" is fine.

the 1/2" comes in handy tearing apart engines, or working on construction rigs.

Some reviews mention coating coming off. Seems alright if you are in a rush but think
I'll wait for Milwaukee set to go on sale for around $99 again.

I own the GW 1/2" impact set and they are well made for the money. If I didn't already have a 3/8" set made by Sunex, I would buy this at this price. Glad to see that they are CR-MO steel. Too many cheap sets sold on Amazon are CR-VAN. People buying them have no idea why you should always buy CR-MO for impacts ...

How often would we need a 20mm and 22mm socket? Since it's missing in this set
