Bro, Amazon's price has NOT been $42.30 for the last few months - that's ridiculous. Check out the Camel, you're dead wrong. $42.30 is the lowest price ever on Amazon and it only lasted for a day or 2. The price in the OP is the lowest price in 2023.

Also, yes, KC Tool has it cheaper - so go post it. You'll probably realize the reason I did not post the KC Tool price (which is the lowest I've found) is that they don't offer free shipping until you spend $75. Shipping is about $10 or something close, so the KC Tool deal isn't a deal unless you qualify for free shipping.

It's a Target deal Mark the price is up the day before and then act like they're on sale and a lot of suckers fall for it

I will never understand lockable strippers. I use these all day everyday and never have I needed them to lock closes. I'll stick with my shorty Kleins for half the price.

Well that's certainly better than buying from Home Depot ($58.35).

But the Price Intelligence data at the top of the page shows the price has been $42.30 for months, yet this is posted on the very day the price goes up 12.5% to $47.62!

I'm not understanding why this is being posted as a deal when kctool is selling them for $46.47 [kctool.com].

slightly better than the woot price a couple of days ago, but does beat the woot's additional 10% off, close enough.

I'm not "dead wrong" - I'm stating what is explicitly shown in the Price Intelligence data for your post.

And if that's "dead wrong", why aren't you posting the correct the information yourself?

You created this thread, so don't blame me for accurately reporting the information it shows. Not cool at all.

Killer deal, I love these. The 6-32/8-32 cutters are great, no need to thread the bolt in, just slide it through and cut. The curved rear blade is great for scoring bigger wire. The jaws are great and grip very well.

The only issue I've found is that they need to be oiled fairly often, they make an annoying squeaky sound when opening and closing after a while. I'm on my second pair after blowing up my first one and they both have had that issue.

What do you mean? I'm pretty sure the point of threading it in is so after you cut it smooths out the threads on the end you cut instead of a jagged end which would be hard to thread back into anything.

Normally yes, that's absolutely how it would work but these strippers work some sort of magic where it can cut a bolt down without buggering the threads. I've cut a few dozen down and have never had any issue threading them in after.

Wish I had a better explanation, but they just work.

I'm sure this product is nicer than the HF Wire Stripper [harborfreight.com] that often goes for ~$3, but can someone please help me to understand the difference? How much nicer is it to make it worth ~$47?
