For the 3rd gen 2010-2015 Prius owners, these are listed as an acceptable alternative size on the Discount Tire website. Only results in a 2% odometer difference.

What a deal! Can't use em myself, but wow! The Yoko Avid is a very good tire, too.

The website says it will fit my 2013 Honda civic coupe, if it's a 15 inch tire on my 16 inch rim. Doesn't seem right? Anyone have any input? Ty

My 2012 Fusion has 225/50-R17 tires.
These Yokohama won't work, right?

You have 17" rims. These are 15". These are also much narrower.

How long can these sit in storage? I still have 40k tread left on my current tires =/.
Keep in cool dry place without exposure to the sun. I've used tires that are 3 years old. I keep the cold tire pressure at 90% of rating, and watch for cracks and bulges on the sidewall. Car is garaged in S Cal. No problem.

So this is a good summer tire but for someone who lives in Colorado probably not a safe option?

I see $50ea. Not. $90 a set
That's because you didn't follow the directions of adding four of them to your cart so the $110 discount can apply.

So the nanny state failed your car because the 1 cm narrower rubber reduced lateral grip by 0.03 G? Don't feel bad. I still have to pass smog inspection with my 1986 Mazda 626. And scum bag CA lowers the pass threshold every other year.
Yeah, my fiance is actually a certified inspection mechanic and he was positive they would let it slide. You could've even tell!! But - it was also an enhanced inspection so they were just crawling over it anyways!!
PA is bullshit with the yearly inspections, and now the yearly registration is $50 just for a car.

I use these tires (different size) on my Subaru in New England. I live in a fairly urban area and they'd probably be fine in the winter, but I put on winter tires just in case it gets gnarly out (and the plow drivers sometimes do a crap job).

FYI for those going smaller - here in Pennsylvania, you *will not* pass inspection if you go smaller than the manufacturer's recommended size. Failed my daughter's 2010 Forrester a few months ago for this very reason. I know not all states do yearly inspections but wanted to give a heads-up to anyone else out here in PA.
- My fiance had scored 4 almost new from a salvage yard but one size down. Nope.
You can go BIGGER (yay, Pennsyltucky 🤣) but not SMALLER.
"You can go BIGGER, but not SMALLER."

That's what she says. 😀

if the tire size is 15" then you need 15" rims.

The Yoko costs $22.50 EACH. I can buy 3 Yokos for one Ecopia. The alignment should stay true unless you hit a large pothole or curb. If the car doesn't pull or vibrate and the thread wear is even, then why waste $ on an alignment? A quality alignment job requires calibrated equipment and experienced technician. The technician will check for suspension problem before the alignment.
Omg. Totally missed that. Ridiculous deal.

What are the regular prices on these tires? Seems ridiculously cheap. Is it risky to have these tires on or better to just pay more for another brand?
