Hopefully, the next one has both a flexible and removable cable. I'm not interested until then.
The side button does nothing but turns the glowing light on and off.

Canceled the 100w version and grabbed the 140w, instead.

I buy all my anker GAN/Prime plugs used on Amazon via anker, seems like a no brainer and they are all in excellent condition when they arrive.
I did grab the new one seeing its on sale here.
I do love it and the form factor, SO EASY to pack other than the thicc cable, which isn't too bad.
FYI plugging into the top two wall outlet plugs does NOT change the output from the USB, but the 100w USB is shared between the 4 ports. My Surface Book 2 wouldn't full charge while my phone was charging for example.

Did you ever used any powerbanks with the xps 15? I have used a Dell PW7018LC 65w powerbank with it and it works but it does say slow charging. It also gives about 50 minutes or so before it goes out... this is while the laptop battery is full.
When you say if it's running games, you mean if it's using the nvidia? I have an xps 15 9520 with i7-12700h processor and nvidia 3050. I had tested using the xps 15 while not using the nvidia 3050 and only the intel iris xe graphics and the dell powerbank worked but of course doesn't last that long. I also believe if the nvidia 3050 was being used, it would still work though. But you are saying it wouldn't? Or it would as long as it doesn't draw a lot of power?
The same one that you have, 9520, except with i9 and 3050 ti.
the biggest issue is that dell uses a proprietary standard so even if you plug in dell's power supply into a USB C hub and then feed into laptop, it will be capped at 100w

Yes! Got this recently and use it as my regular charger for my MacBook Pro. It's nice to have a thinner charger to slip into my backpack than all the bulkier bricks, and the outlets are great for travel. All the thumbs way up for this device.

When you use this anker 737 for your xps 9520, do you connect it only when your laptop is running low in battery like say 10% or 20%? I assume you almost never connect it to your xps 9520 when it's 100% battery right? Thus like most people, you only connect the anker 737 to your laptop when you need to? Thus you aren't going to connect it to your xps whien battery is full since if your phone or any other device is low, then you use that?
In my situation, it's different than most people because I mainly use a powerbank with the xps 9520 only when I have a power outage. I do things online on the laptop for hours so when there is a power outage, I would then connect the Dell PW7018LC powerbank to it... then use it while laptop battery is 100%... the dell powerbank last about 50 minutes or so. Then once it runs out, I just use my xps 9520 battery until it runs out assuming the power doesn't come back on.. Someone said if there is a power outage, you should actually connect a powerbank immediately to your laptop and use it all up first... as oppose to using your laptop battery till it's 10% or 20% first because if you do that... the powerbank would actually use up more juice because bringing the battery up from 10% upwards uses more juice compared to if laptop battery is 100%. This is true right?
So if I use the powerbank immediately when the power goes out, say I get 50 minutes. The thing that is say I get 3 hours out of my laptop battery when using it the whole time during a power outage. So I get roughly 3 hours 50 minutes with my dell powerbank and xps battery. But if say I use the laptop battery first and get it down to 10% and say that takes 2 hours 45 minutes, well if I connect the powerbank to it, it would last maybe 40 to 45 minutes or less compared to 50 minutes? But it would increase my laptop battery from 10% to maybe 45% or so at the max? So which way would give me more battery backup?
So in my situation, this anker 737 is good for the xps 9520? So it would give me around 1 hour 5 minutes total before it goes out? The reason being my Dell PW7018LC power has 18000 mah and last 50 minutes or so. The anker 737 has 24000 so it would last 1 hour 5 minutes? However if you were to use this anker 737 with a low processor laptop that uses a low power u series processor or chromebook, then it probably charge the laptop full 1 time?
