Yup I would compare it to QRevo more. But I get why people like this one
The Q revo don't have obstacle avoidance, which is why people compare the L10s to the s7 MaxV because those both have obstacle avoidance with a built in camera.
my few hours of research shows L20 ultra beats out S7 maxv ultra and takes #1 spot. Why aren't they more popular? vacuum war ranking[vacuumwars.com]
at $945 after coupon it's in the ballpark of the S7, but everything else is a little better.
I got mine a few days ago and have been using it a lot to mop floors. The mopping is excellent so far, but the object avoidance isn't so great as other reviews have stated.
How does the swiveling edge mopping perform? I much prefer the L20's approach.
I ordered the Q revo, but after tax vs this coupon it's only $200 more to get the Dreame. I have the CC to help if anything goes wrong with the unit as well so I feel ok going to get the better obstacle avoidance Also Like the additional mop functionality.
Bought one from Amazon few days ago. This deal is about $100 less than Amazon's price, since it's tax free and has a better discount. Going to buy a new one and return it to Amazon.

Just got mine really liking it so far! I am coming from a Roomba 980. The mapping has been great, and it is very quiet compared to the roomba. It recognized two places that I have wires and avoided perfectly

I have found that it works very well. I had an 360 S7 before, and it always left a strip of unmopped area around the edge. With the edge mopping, it gets very close to the edge. It does slow down the mopping process, but to me that is a small price to pay.
One reason I am going with the S7 over the L10s that I have not seen mentioned is that the water tank on the robot itself is removable. Having a place where water goes that cannot be manually cleaned with hot water and soap worries me as it seems ripe for mold or it eventually clogging due to mineral/deposit buildup. And the thought of moldy water being spread across my floors grosses me out.
A big reason I went with the S7 is the water tank on the bot is removable and washable. Since it doesn't seem to be on the dreamebot (the bot itself, not the dock), I won't be able to clean it and I can see mold becoming an issue or it clogging due to hard water/deposits. I really don't want moldy water being spread around my house.
Got it for $600 last time it was on sale, I was happy with the performance until it broke month later with the error - Laser Distance Sensor Malfunction. Cleaning the rotating piece didn't help, and the vacuum was returned back. Even though the cleaning was great, you don't expect such pricy item to malfunction after just one month of irregular usage.
Before reading your comment, I went with the Revo...but I'm not confident in my decision. The post above yours and the Newsweek article made me nervous. Also, Vacuum Wars gave the Revo the best performance score, which seems important.
However, I've never had a robot with good obstacle avoidance, so I'm unsure how much value that has. When my current robots get caught on something or jammed, 90% of the time, it is caused by legos. Is the L10s able to avoid these? My assumption is no since they are so small.
I wouldn't be too worried. I think the revo has the edge in cleaning. Plus, all the guys reviewing these things are taking them to the max AND measuring performance with a fine tooth comb. I think they are so close the average user won't really notice.
If this is the S7 MaxV you're talking about? https://www.ebay.com/itm/40419354...109be00INT
It's currently out of stock. It's refurbished, as oppose to NEW like the Dreame. Also the dock is a significant downgrade compared to the Dreame that empties and fill the water tank and cleans the mop. This makes the L10s a MUCH better buy at this price than the s7 Maxv, IMO.
Have u factor in customer service? Good luck getting one from dreametech

I don't have pets so not worried as much about the spy camera.
Also, I trust roborock much more long term.
Great option either way.

I thought roborock also has 1 year warranty? How did you get 2?
