The reviews trashing it for "leaking" are mostly bogus....just check the tightness of the cap when you first get it. Apparently they updated the seal that they use on the drain plug to fix the issue on earlier ones. I can't speak for ice retention as I've only used it on 2-3 night stints but it kept my stuff perfectly cold for that long.
Also worth noting you can use the side rope handles or just grab it by the sides. There are little indents for your fingers under the left & right lid lip. The bar tray on the top is nice too in that it makes it great for mixing drinks if you are into that sort of thing ;p.

I'd jump on this but I've already invested enough in good coolers. My 28 and 55-quart Lifetime coolers have seen a bunch of use and still look like new, and last summer I picked up a nice 70 quart rotomolded Igloo on a crazy deal.
This is injection molded but should perform and hold up well, and looks fairly compact.

Great, thank you!
I'm less impressed with the ice retention we've had so far, but quite honestly that's likely my own fault. We've used them on a couple trips, and aside from it being hot I've been lazy about things like pre-chilling the cooler and freezing stuff we're not going to use immediately. Still, I think it may be a bit worse than our Coleman Extreme cooler.
