Here is a very important tip I never saw people mentioned but I'm going to share it.

For the burgers or sandwich deals that has a $1 spending requirement, you can soup up the burger or the sandwich with extras. For example, tomorrow I will add the cheeseburger offer, and modify the cheeseburger. My local BK charges 50 cents for extra tomatoes and 50 cents for extra lettuce. Boom! That's a cheeseburger on steroid for $1 with nothing else to buy.

They used to have the add bacon for $1 option, but they changed it so that if you add bacon, it automatically changes to the bacon cheeseburger which is not what the offer calls for. But you can do tomato, onions, lettuce, extra cheese, and pickle on top of the cheeseburger.

Original chicken sandwich (Dec 29) is easy. In addition to the toppings I just mentioned for mod, you also have cheese and bacon. So you have a lot more options to soup up the chicken sandwich for $1.

I know I can order two cookies for $1.50 and normal cheeseburger for free. I just don't like their cookies. I also don't like their nuggets so I'm not going to pay $2 for 4 pieces just to get a free cheeseburger. But if you are wondering what you should buy for $1, that's my trick.

You're welcome.

FYI, during this event, there is a 'hidden king doll' in the cabin and if you find it on 12 days during this month-long event, you'll earn 550 crowns.

So if you get those and the free crowns on 2 other days, that's a total of ...666 free crowns. Lol.

Anyways, between this event and the two over the last months (Halloween and Football), they've given away about 1500~1700 crowns. That's a lot of free food. I've generally found cheeseburgers (or double) to be the best value at 250 crowns (400 for the double).

As cheesy as BKs new jingle is, I've grown to like it...no other fast food joint tells me sweet nothings like "you rule". All McD does is charge $19 for a big Mac meal and tells me to pull up to the next window because they didn't make enough fries 🤔

Be careful of the BK scam during breakfast. The menu board pictures a criossanwich, hash browns, and a cup of coke for the meal price. But when you order a coke with your meal, they tack on 80 cents for it.

The best news in here is that the melts are coming back on the 7th! Melts with caramelized onions are my favorite! Haven't been to a BK in forever, but I'll be back for those!

I wonder if there's a limit to how many whoppers you can purchase on $3 Whopper Wednesday...

There meat is skimpier and really without taste the last few times I have had it. The chicken sandwich (OG) is still edible BUT they put too much mayo on it and the lettuce is something I wouldn't feed to my dog. They are also trying to get every nickle out of you while also sucking. I ate there recently and it was so crappy I swore I would never eat there again. I guess I would consider breakfast and if I was absolutely starving but McDonalds really has managed to stay ahead of BK. I still prefer Wendy's the most of those 3, but they have fallen off somewhat too. Greedy corporations...I'd rather just eat a PB&J frankly.

I wish I could send you a screenshot of my order in the app. I was confused about the price before tax, though. It's $12.85 to be exact, and the total is $13.99 after tax
Just to advise the method: You can share the screenshot to email and then attach it here. SD app is too lame you need to use internet browser full site not mobile, classic view lets you attach pics in advanced mode in your reply.

But I'll take your word for it even though you didn't simply tell me which location as I asked so I could verify for myself if you had. I'm over it, but my point is still not disproven that someone claiming $19 is BS, regardless of your claim being true. Even a $5 exaggeration is a big difference in this context.

I wasn't sure McD has reached those 5 Guys level prices but decided to check myself in my area, so I did a large meal Big Mac + and a Quarter Pounder + . I said plus because I just did all the works that they offer in the order menu (Think Super Size style). I was able to get the Mac to 18.75 after tax and the Q Pounder was 22.66 after tax. I included the screenshot so you can subtract what you want to get an idea (The extra patty for example on the Quarter Pounder, one can argue makes it a double Quarter Pounder, so it is fair to subtract the 2 dollars).

I still remember 39 cent cheese burgers on Wednesdays and 1.99 Big Macs. Crazy
Thank you.
This is right in line with my point. Exaggeration, stating $19 for a Big Mac meal, while comparing it to BK pricing. This is not a standard "Big Mac meal" price. The person who claimed $19 never proved it. This only shows that even on steroids it is not the same as the comparison to their non-steroid BK prices.
A Big Mac meal vs. Big King meal comparison would be competitively priced is my point. There is no big price gap otherwise they'd lose out on tons of business People shouldn't make up or skew their data to make a comparison.

Yes. You can use the desktop computer to get the deal. What the desktop computer is lacking is the ability to get points from the cabin or the silly games BK app has.

A simple 5 digit answer would do. From where I'm at, Texas Double Whopper is the most expensive burger at $8.99, followed by Triple Whopper at $8.69, and then Bacon King at $8.19. A Triple Whopper Large Meal is $13.19 regularly. I guess with Virgina's 10% food tax it would be close to $15. If I really want a meal out of those, I'd use a combination of offer(s). For example using the any fries free for any purchase to get the large drink and large fries. Then buy the burger separately. That's why I'm curious and want to see what his zip code offers. I don't need to pay $15 even with the most expensive burger most upgraded meal with the right offer.

just tried papajohns after awhile and was surprised to find out that their overpriced pizza has increased from $17.50 to $20. and their restaurant was still super busy with about 20+ boxes waiting to be picked up.

This reply should have been directed to the one I replied to. They were the ones with trouble posting pics.
P.S. I know zip code helps. But be aware that you can get different pricing in the same zip code when there are several options, so the restaurant location (address) is best to let us verify pricing claims.

There aren't that many zip codes that have several BK's. Even if they do, I suspect the price would be similar or people would just flock to the cheaper one within the same zip.

Yes, Virginia has different tax on different things. Restaurant is 10% or 11%. Last week I bought a box of lipton's tea bags, and got charge 1% tax on it. There could be other surprises that I don't know about.

Yes, you have to pay, but you're right some items should be free. Wearing that sweater is free advertising for them. I'm not going to wear a cheap $30 ugly looking sweater. Stocking socks are $10, ornament is $5, the sweater is $30.
