Got Target to price match by going in store. Refused to do it online as it was an in store purchase. Process was easy once I got there. Thanks for posting this!

I have a 6 month old Series S, and was also trying to talk myself out of this. But I couldn't do it. I'll be able to sell my Series S for $200+ (more than I paid), and I can probably sell this Series X at a profit (or at least break even) as well if I change my mind, even if I open and use it. Plus, I have a fairly new 65" 4k 120hz HDMI 2.1 TV. Next-gen gaming and blu ray movies are the only opportunity to really max out this TV, and I'd have wasted money and time holding out for HDMI 2.1 if I didn't get a Series X or PS5, and I could have traded HDMI 2.1 for OLED instead. The problem is Walmart is playing the stock game now. The Target reps aren't able to get see the $349 price because it's fluctuating. You were better off trying to get one when the deal first popped up as the $349 price was pretty stable.

Thank god the deal expired. It took all my strength not to buy this. I already have a series X, didn't need another one. Came out $350 better off.

I'm trying to PM an order from 13 days ago, which according to their garbage ass PM policy, is valid. They just keep making excuses to say no.

If it's excluded because of a GC, which I suspect, then just say so. Of course, there are people on this board that were able to get it done so again, all I ask for is consistency. I got one person who has taken 20 minutes to even check Walmart's site (different item that is 100% in stock). It's like why bother making a show of saying you'll price match when I can talk to 10 different reps and get 10 different responses. That's garbage.

I got a shipping update from my early (middle of the night/ order than delivery was delayed until December 13 from December 4th orig. CS couldn't change order to store pickup so I searched around and found a store in stock for curbside today and placed order. It's already ready for pickup. Will cancel orig delayed order once I pickup new order.
