Do you like or want to play some of the xbox exclusive games? If so, yes. If not, no. Really comes down to personal preference. For years I only had an xbox and switch and had plenty to play. Over the past couple years or so I added a gaming PC, PS5, Steam Deck, and Quest 2. Overkill perhaps but being system agnostic is fun.

I still see the Diablo package available in Colorado.
Anyone care to comment on the value of the $38 3-year protection plan? I know, people usually like those for the controllers, given the stick-drift issues, but what about problems with the consoles themselves?

I got in on this deal and picked it up from the store. I will likely never play Diablo, but doesn't look like it came with a code. I can redeem it on my account or another account. Any way I can sell this? I'd only want $25-30.

If you have Game Pass and another person who plays in your household, then maybe. Then you can play with one person on the PC and one person on Xbox, utilizing the same Game Pass subscription simultaneously. If you designate the Xbox as your home Xbox, anyone who signs in can utilize your Game Pass subscription, even if you're using it at the same time on your PC. Great for coop and multiplayer.

Would you buy a 3-year warranty on a newly purchased car? I wouldn't then why would you need to buy their protection plan. As far as I know they have a standard 1 year warranty meaning Microsoft will replace as long as the product is damaged within their terms. I have seen these protection plan pop-up even on stupid products like $40 web cam that I could care less. Don't fall for everything they throw at you.

I don't normally buy warranties (esp on new items), but I've read here on SD that it's common to buy the $4 (?) coverage on a brand new console controller, as the stick-drift is a common problem, and the warranty allows people to use the controller for a couple years and then trade it in for a new one when that drift likely appears. I wouldn't think the console itself would have similar problems, but didn't know if ppl were seeing optical drive issues, etc.

I tried using 80909 to get the Diablo package shipped, but when I put in my shipping address at checkout it changes the price to what is available locally

The Diablo bundle price has come and gone for me a couple of times today (metro Atlanta area). Forza was never there. System with no game is still $349.
