One of the best games I've ever played. It is clearly inspired by original Zelda games but there's a whole other layer of puzzles and stuff going on in the background.

The amount of, "ah ha" or "wtf" moments you have when you solve a puzzle or find a shortcut that was hidden in clear sight is plentiful.

I'd highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mystery and puzzles or huge Zelda fans.
Except it's on game pass.
Great price if you're looking for this on the switch. Shame there's a slight graphics and framerate downgrade for this version.

This is an all-time-low price for this game on any platform in any format from a non-YMMV deal. Previous such low was 20.99. The physical edition may or may not have been cheaper from Best Buy B&M on clearance at one point, but not at any locations near me.

Had a friend describe it to me and I don't really see the appeal of how they've done the puzzles. He brought up multiple examples where there's absolutely no way a normal person would figure it out, so enjoy googling.

$2 cheaper w/ Amazon than on Nintendo directly: https://www.nintendo.com/us/store...ic-switch/

Decent price 🤷🏻

The puzzles were hit and miss.. I'd describe it as a mix of dark souls and Zelda, but doesn't do either nearly as well. Fun game though

Love Love Love this game!

Only thing that bugged, me was that there was no explanation about anything... Basically had to be on google lots lol... There were instructions, but you had to find the instructions through exploration and stuff. Weird.

The puzzles felt great and I did not need to google anything. I did get stuck a few times but I'd set the game down for a few days. When I would pick it back up, the solution would be obvious. I took some photos of the guide book and had fun translating the language on a long flight.

Personally, I love Zelda and Indies and was really looking forward to this one, but it just didn't work for me. I liked some of Tunic's concepts (like the manual), but never felt motivated to finish it. I enjoyed Death's Door (which is similar albeit slightly more soulslike) substantially more.

Yeah, I disagree with some of these comments. I absolutely loved this game. It's Zelda if everything about Zelda was a mystery you had to solve while playing the game. You have to literally find pages of an NES-era manual in-game which gives you clues about where to go and what to do, otherwise you'll need to stumble onto things. Either way, extremely anti-hand-holding. That's not everyone's bag, and that's fine, but say that it doesn't do what another game does "nearly as well" assumes it's trying to do Zelda again. It's clearly inspired by Zelda, but that's mainly gameplay-based. The path of the game is very different.
