SlickdealsForumsDeal TalkCostco Day 4: $399 Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15.6" Touchscreen Laptop - 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U - 1080p - Windows 11 - Abyss Blue, $599 Suncast 6' x 5' Modern Shed And More ...
Really confused. Is this post talking about garden sheds or a laptop. Maybe there's no difference between the two? I feel like I'm in the Twilight zone.
Almost thought the suncast shed was $400.
Comparing laptops is tricky because there's so many different spec configurations within the same model. Comparing to the same model at Walmart with lesser specs, you're getting the same model with more storage and more memory for $100 less.

12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U (10-Core) Processor
15.6" Touchscreen IPS LCD with LED-backlit FHD (1920 x 1080) 300-Nits Display
Wi-Fi 6 (2x2/160) Gig+ and Bluetooth® 5.0
Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, and Webcam with Privacy Shutter
Microsoft® Windows 11 Home (64-bit)
More so looking for just general email, YouTube, Netflix, budgeting spreadsheets etc. I think specs wise I will be fine with either, but what about build quality, screen quality, etc?
Shouldn't the laptop be in the 300-350 range? It's a 12th gen i5, not even 16 gb ram and 512 gb SSD. How are the hinges on ideapads? they are entry level right? are they plastic chassis?
Acer seems to be better minus the backlit keyboard, finger print scanner. Not a fan of the screen. I'm assuming the Lenovo's screen more vibrant due to it being touch screen?

I think it is a decent option for general use computing (browsing, documents, etc)

I'm seeing $399 ($599 - $200 savings).
Item number 1772259. You could even search that way on the site.
