Im the OP. I play on this specific 1up and also on fightcade on my pc. For hyper fighting specifically the scene on FC is mostly dead. CE and ST are always packed. Playing on a stick on the PC needs to be mounted or it will move during gaming. Playing on the 1up allows me to play standing and also to get into the game takes 45 seconds from boot where as a PC requires a kb and mouse and also some prep time.
This is a great price for what you get.
Yes the input lag is more prevalent on 1up due to emulation, but this is only really noticeable to the more competitive players.
Most of my buddies that play competitively that play on both platforms end up playing on the 1up more often.
The most important thing one should do if you play street fighter seriously is upgrade the sticks and buttons.
Think you're missing the whole point of these machines.. it's the nostalgic and looks is why people would want them. Not to mention it'll probably be emulated anyways.
Everyone knows that you will be able to get much better picture quality if you use an emulator and play this on a PC. It gets old when people post that every single time one of the 1UP posts is made.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: People who are buying the 1UP machines are not doing so for gaming quality, but for the nostalgic aspect of the game. And before someone else comments, most people do not want to go out an buy a generic cabinet and go through the hassle of setting up a PC monitor and controls to operate it. The 1UP machines are for folks who want to replicate the old arcade experience and use the machines for their basements or gaming rooms as entertainment for themselves or guests. It's not like the people who are buying the 1UP machines don't already have PCs, Playstations or Xboxes where they do their serious gaming.

Cramped, small screen, less accurate emulation than you can get for free right now in minutes, generic sticks and buttons of dubious quality, and the crap ergonomics of an arcade cabinet.
Just emulate on your nice PC and buy a nice fightstick with world class controls, like the monoprice dark matter one for sale right now

Same feeling as OP's above comments. A1up cabs give you the ability to pop right into a quick game. I play HF on A1ups, CE or ST on Fightcade (with prep time like OP mentioned), and SF6 on PS4.
OP, be sure to add Kohl's (with $60 back on Kohl's cash) to the list :-)
Man...I bought 2 arcades already. No more room for another one.
This would be a good value to play the SF games competitively as the lobbies for Hyper specifically have people playing of all levels. On weekend nights you can have 6-10 games going on.

Looks like you're trolling all of these posts.
Emulating stuff on the computer is not the same as having a cabinet setup.

this is actually decent. 4:3 20" fits perfect and I replaced the control panel with my own with sanwa parts. looks like mini midway cabinet too. I can comfortably play sitting down(im 6'). the height is about same as japanese sit down cabinets.

If you're considering an Arcade1up, this is a great price for arguably the best one (style, game selection, features, build quality).
