These are plastic, but I got them in black and honestly compared to other all/ mostly black shoes (reebok newport, adidas continental 80) I've had in the past few years, they are holding up just fine.

Hard to get all white leather for under 50 nowadays anyway, regardless of brand.

I never was interested in stan smith's but decided to try them a couple yrs ago. The style reminds of bowling shoes. But I guess if you want minimal branding, leather type sneakers they seem like a decent option. I paid similar price for the all black version

Very good deal, but it should be noted these are their "vegan" leather, thus plastic. Granted $30 for one of the most popular tennis shoes right now and a shoe that is basically part of the Midtown NYC uniform is a pretty great deal. I have the Stan Smith Luxes which are real leather but they are also $145

I would say for Adidas these run 1/2 a size large thus size down. I normally wear a 8.5 for almost every Adidas shoe and I take a 8 in these. Overall these run true to size

Yes, IMO what it comes down to is price point. If you are wearing these all day everyday $175 Veja shoe is going to wear out quickly. A $30 Stan Smith vegan leather will probably wear out the same if not maybe a tad quicker but it also costed you almost 6X more than Veja. At $175 you could buy this basic Stan Smith and a pair of Stan Smith Luxes

That is the all white, you can check on adidas website it will show as all white.
