I had Moto G Power, Moto G stylus, both 2020 release. These great mid range phones. I do not play games, but for everything else these phones work perfectly. I do not know about Moto Edge 2022 offered by T-Mobile, but Moto Edge 2023 is at least as good as my Pixel 6 Pro, my be not as good in Photo department, but other than that it looks and behaves like premium phone.

Go to the other (previous) thread.

More subscribers complain because either TMO or Costco (or both) messed up the gift card process.

Also, more subscribers still waiting for their GC

Yes my GC still hasn't come through. T-Mobile and Costco are pointing at each other. T-Mobile says Costco used the wrong code... Costco disagrees.

I almost bit, but they're valuing this phone at $22/month which means it's seen at $484 you"d repay if cancelling. Also 35 bucks to get it activated, which is lame

Do you get $75 costco shop card when you just trade in a phone or you have to add a line to get it?

Regarding the $35, whenever T-Mobile has these free phones, I call and ask and they will generally give me a $35 account credit to compensate for the activation free. It's always worth a try. If the first person does not do it willingly, I usually call back again.

Do taxes have to be paid on the phone, and will your monthly bill be higher when doing this?

Yes you have to pay taxes on the retail price of the phone unfortunately. They can incorporate the cost into monthly payments, or you pay upfront depending on how the tmo rep process the promotion.

Costco T-mobile kiosks waive the $35 activation fees and mail after 90 days a $75 Costco shop card for upgrades or $150 Costco shop card for new lines:

Last I did this was a few months ago. Looks like they're still doing it from the updated deal description.

I'm finally seeing this deal on my account!

Does anyone know if this is the best of the "free phone" options? I see other free phones such as the Nokia G310 5G, Motorola G 5G, or Nord N300 5G. The Edge has the highest MSRP by a long shot, but that doesn't always means the highest quality.

Too bad your updates were for a phone with only 8-16gbs of space (circa 2006-2008). This phone has 128gb of space, but uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7030, which is an entry level processor, you will need to get the plus model to get a Snapdragon gen 1 and better specs. Even Samsung sometimes uses MediaTek chipsets in their entry level phones. This is an entry level to midrange phone. I believe you are thinking of the MotoG OG series.
That's the one that is turned off. This one has 128gb memory an can't even run Bluetooth/GPS /wireless at the same time. An is laggy an missing features from 2014. I've only owned like 40+ smartphones since the Motorola atrix (arguably their best since it had no competition).

For people have done this. Is there an advantage by going to Costco with Tmobile directly compared to calling Costco?

TIA
