Could anyone please recommend a receiver for this set?
Used will be best refurb denon also a good option s760h is what I went with. Has 7.2 so you have options for more channels down the line if you will never need more channels then there are probably cheaper options
Bought these (minus the subwoofer) about five years ago. I've got the Atmos speakers as well, plus it's paired with two Dayton 12" subwoofers. I can't really say I'm much of an audiophile, so take that into consideration, but I'm really happy with them. They look and sound great.
Love these speakers though upgraded the sub. I paired with the Costco Denon receiver as I wanted Atmos to run ceiling speakers. It's on sale now too. Sounds great! Would definitely not hesitate to buy. Also new sub was pointless as I only get to use when wife is on a biz trip. In terms of annoying her both this sub and new did the job \m/

If you are looking for a home theater setup on a budget around this price point I highly recommend getting this. I bought these speakers (minus this sub) on a similar deal a year ago to replace a much smaller Monoprice Premium 5.1 system. I know this is comparing apples to oranges but I've dabbled with various speaker brands and AVRs, and found the Monoprice speakers were fine for my previous setup.
I added two more JAMOS surround and ATMOS speakers, and a beefier sub, all of which I found incredibly cheap this time of year to put together a 7.1.2 system for a 'starter' home theater setup. I paired these with a 100 watt Pioneer AVR and could not be happier (had 80 Watt Denon and 80 Watt Onkyo previously). The front L/R speakers do a great job of supporting center channel for dialogue as well as creating bass. This has kept me from buying a better center channel.
With my room layout, space, etc. I don't feel the ATMOS speakers are performing well, but I knew that could be the case going into it. Just an FYI for anyone who may consider buying those separately in the future.

P.S. If anyone intends to listen to music on these, definitely use Airplay instead of Bluetooth. The difference in quality is immediately noticeable.
