Kinda Yes depending on applications (better sensor, better AF, better video, new menu). But A7 III is more than enough for most people.

You need a wide angle low aperture lense to go with the camera body. Lower aperture lens is able to allow more light on the sensor and wide angle to capture the entire sky. For example
I use the 16-35mm f 2.8 G master lens. But you could also go with 20mm f 1.8 g lens which is significantly cheaper.
