People balk at the high annual fee of cards like the AMEX Platinum, but loss/theft/damage-protection is a key part of why I keep paying for the card year after year.

A friend of mine bought an iPad on his AMEX Plat, accidentally left it on a plane (and it was not found), and AMEX promptly just refunded the entire purchase price after he filed a small amount of paperwork online.

Depends on the situation, if it was bundled when you bought it, I doubt you will be able to get money back (but no harm in trying!). Apple has been good to me if I bought AppleCare but cancelled it before the end of the term. I suggest reaching out to Apple to see what sort of refund you can get from them. Their phone number is 800-APL-CARE or you could try the Apple support app. Good luck!

I thought they were dumb… then I used them. Much more convenient than over ear but what makes them special is the software works seemlessly. Yeah they got me as well lol
