When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.

I already got a refund for the heybike order from a previous chat with amazon. Called customer service yesterday and asked them to give me the difference between what I paid and what it would cost to buy the same bike now: $360. They offered to give me a refund of that amount after I recieve the new order. I declined and asked to be connected to a supervisor. He asked me to find a similar bike that's sold by Amazon. I added the SWIFTY bike to my cart. It was $442 more than my original Heybike order. He said he can give me $400 in promotional credit and $42 refund after the order is delivered. I accepted that.
Does anyone know when the promo credit expires??

Full refund + 250 in promo credit.. I talked to them saying the full price is more $399 + 120 ==$510 as compared to $228+250 ==$478 so delta short by $30. Spent multiple back and forth , i will take it waiting for Aventon to show up again looks like a solid UL certified bike
Chat with a few reps with answers like "wait until xxx", "$20 credit" etc and transferred to a higher end leadership rep. He initially offered $150 promo credit, but after some of my complain and that price difference with placing new order from HeyBike directly stuff, he finally agreed to issue a $200 gift card to my account, which I accepted. it's not as great as other SDers got $250 and more, but I decided not go further. I believe you can try a bit more aggressive and ask for more but YMMV

I ordered a black one since white was not available.
Once arrive they promised to refund back the difference.
They processed refund for the original white bike of course.
Took 2 tries. First agent from what they call heavy department was not helpful at all.
Second agent I chatted with made it happen for me.
Am I the only person getting this bike?
Was anyone else offered to place new order with heybike?
