When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.

I only got $100 promo balance you can use it on items sold and fulfilled by amazon. not a gift card and the agent was polite but pretty stern and after an hour of being on chat i'm tired lol, I didn't really want the bike that bad anyway I have too much junk in my house and garage as it is

You gotta push back a little and make them feel bad for not coming through with the e-bike. It does take a little work.

You'll notice in the reply you quoted of me, I specifically stated not rated for the battery. Because the battery is the part that explodes.
Update: yeah the rep "scammed" me. Lol. Gave me promises to just shut up and end the chat. All I got was the $200 promo certificate.
First agent flat out told me there's nothing he can do since the item is not sold/ship by amazon.
I paid 573.29 total for the black bike. 252.45 was the orignal price I paid for the white bike.
They are refunding me 320.84 after I take delivery.
You probably looking for hours over the phone, maybe even days and even then, resolution is not guaranteed.
Sounds like breach of contract... Amazon offered an item for sale, I paid for it, they told me multiple times it shipped, then finally told me it got lost, and then offered me a refund. They didn't offer $300 to make me whole. This situation is being handled terribly by Amazon - hands down worst experience ever with them.

im guessing the components are dirt cheap. expect to replace things like the chain, shocks and cassettes if you use it regularly, for a weekend joy rider its a great deal i guess, dont expect the battery to last long.
