When I attempt to place the order it strips out the deal code on the website. The app refuses the code outright. Won't move to payment prior to already stripping code
(Sorry. One or more promo codes are no longer available and have been removed.)

Coupon only works with Affirm which is 15% interest. Sounds like a whole ordeal. Can you just pay it off immediately? I imagine you have to make an account. I'm not trying to finance a Quest.

Because you aren't checking out via Affirm like the post says. It's a financing option.

Affirm will do a soft pull. Not a huge deal, and I guess you could do this and then pay it off immediately, but for the love of God, if you have to finance a VR headset that's $200, then, uh....DO NOT BUY IT.

So you save $37.35 with the 15%, and if you choose 3 monthly payments, you pay less than $7 interest. So you net save $30ish.

AND that doesn't take into account the lower taxes you pay up front, if your state collects state taxes.

So between the $50 gift card AND the $30ish you save, that's $80ish better than the same headset on Amazon or others.

Thanks OP. TU & Repped.

My quest 2 has been turned on maybe half a dozen times in 2 years. What a waste of $$ and I paid a lot more

That's a personal problem, and does not reflect anything about the quest 2. Mine has been used for probably 100+ hours. It's a pretty solid headset, especially for the ridiculous cheap prices it currently sells for. Considering the referral credit, it's basically $150.

Depending on memory size you can get $150-$175 for it.

BTW - Meta is offering it at $250 + $50 gift card AND better Elite headstrap for it on the Meta site.

EDIT - Dead now.

seems like you need a pretty beefy pc to run it, not the $200 refurb stuff that shows up on the frontpage.

Where do you see the gift card? I just see it for $250 and elite strap.

I'm guessing nobody would price match since it's a coupon code? I've never used buy now pay later and I really don't intend to

15% off recent best deal for the Quest 2 is not too shabby. Question is where to spend that $50 GC for NewEgg... They have gone -100x since IPO...
