Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Just chatted with Amazon to discuss the screenshot. The rep confirmed that Amazon IS a authorized store and the Rattan note only applies to non-Rattan and non-Amazon 3rd party Sellers. The rep also confirmed that if anything is wrong, Amazon will help.

He also confirmed that the product is returnable within 30 days.

Both of my orders are "front porch" also with a delivery date of 21 and 22. Ceva tracking still says "No Results".

Yeah,they are too big to be engaged in anything really. Just following a process, but if something falls out of it, they won't be able to realize it. It's all hope whether we get these bikes at this point, it's definitely fishy, and you don't have it until it's been delivered to your house. It's the waiting game at this point... I've watched a lot of YTs on Rattan and it has me excited, I hope I and we all don't get disappointed for xmas. Watch the package that Ceva drops off is just a lump of coal...

Assuming these go through, I still don't understand why the manufacturers are threatening not to warrant their bikes. If they truly are their ebikes, and I'm sure they are, that really taints their name. And a dumb name at that.

I mentioned somewhere else but I assume Amazon is taking a loss with these and just is trying to clear inventory. The brands know they can never sell at this price and still be profitable and are frustrated that when you search "ebike brand sale" and see that they were $400 (or $2xx in the other deals) buyers will want to wait for that sale price again instead of purchasing.

If Amazon had these bikes in their inventory, then there is a chance that some of the buyers may get their bikes. However, if the expectation is that the manufacturers to send them directly to the customers, given that Amazon pricing was being disputed by the manufacturer, this will not happen.

Stop spreading rumors and misinformation , checked my Amazon CC and the info is the same like lots of purchases i made sold/shipping by amazon, called amazon 2 times the CSRep ., assured me this is legit. , they said it takes time to move the packages to UPS , is 97 pounds or so.

The deal in question said shipped from and sold by Amazon.com. This would typically indicate that Amazon had the actual physical inventory in-stock at their warehouses or logistics hubs. I've never seen a drop-shipped or third party item with "Shipped from and sold by Amazon.com".

Typically that's what it means, but many times I've had "shipped and sold by Amazon" items ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor.

I cancelled my Asurion policy on the HeyBike. Ausrion said they won't cover batteries (it's in the terms they sent me) and it would be a fiasco trying to get them to honor it anyway with the manufacturer's warranty status being unknown.
