Amazon chat is super easy to deal with, I honestly didn't think the refund would come until the item arrived, I'll return them before I accept the original price. The 240vac split phase at 6kw is a really nice feature, my use case is unique though as I have a motorhome with 3.8kw of solar and a 14kw lifepo4 battery... in time this will grow and these generators are part of this.

Nothing was returned. I ordered under the original price from the ad, Amazon canceled this order. I contacted chat, after a few different people they said to reorder, they would refund the difference. I ordered from genmax as Amazon does not stock the listed item. This took a bit of time, but document the chat, amazon did exactly what they said they would do.

Quick update: After 2 hours on the chat and going through countless customer service agents, they will not refund the difference.
I am disputing the charge at this point. Will keep you posted.

Had decided to re-order after being reassured by 2 different people via chat that once the item arrives, I can simply contact them back for a price adjustment and both times the Amazon CS indicated a note would be placed on my account so others are aware of the approved price adjustment, yet when the package finally did arrive this past Friday, I'm now being told over and over that Amazon doesn't price match nor will they adjust the price. In addition, I also include the latest price adjustment chats and in some instances the CS just kept pasting a generic paragraph over and over that they don't offer price matches followed by "I hope you understand" 3 times back to back when I wanted to escalate higher to manager. Just crazy and hoping you and I all the best with the dispute. At the end, I really just want them to take the item back now and give me all the money back. Just not worth the aggravation and via chat or phone for over 3 hours and counting in addition to then providing dispute details to Chase which is also time consuming.

That mirrors my experience to a T! Same chat copy/pasting, same "I hope you do understand" bullshit, in the end, a very annoying supervisor who told me to basically pound sand.
