Mazda is having a hard time moving inventory. I bought a new CX-5 Signature at the peak of the pandemic shortages with 0.9% financing and $1000 below MSRP.

I absolutely love the car. As absurd and silly as this sounds, it's far more Cayenne than RAV-4. My only complaint is that gas mileage is mediocre to poor.

One thing i've learned in life is, once you make a large purchase, like a house or car, etc. Just stop looking and researching, you'll only be disappointed

Be careful my 2019 cx5 engine died on me. They said i didnt do enough oil changes (which they are right but that tells you how sensitive these engines are)
Sensitive from lack of oil changes? Sounds like it performed as well as it was treated then.

…and it has a real transmission; not the CVT crap.

Interest rates are coming down but not like they were pre-C19. Car prices are still high; it's because of the jacked up economy. I don't say that to open a political debate either, we're sharing opinions on a vehicle deal. Yes, this model has been reported to be on its way out BUT what does that matter? It's not going out because it sucks, it's because a new model came out. Some might say to not buy it because it's going out. Not sure of the logic behind that. I suppose when Toyota was going to stop making the Avalon, everyone shouldn't have bought one even though Toyota was offering specials on it?

MPG on dealer sites has 26/31. Is that not accurate in real world driving? I'm seeing lots of comments about gas mileage issues.

All, 0% APR means this isn't the best price. But you will have to fight to get the cost of the 0% offer off the MSPR.

Mazda was impressive with their ability to produce vehicles while most other car companies couldn't get cars on the lot in the past few years. You still could negotiate with Mazda because they had inventory. I've got a 23 cx-5 premium plus and it punches well above its weight class. Highly recommended these cars

Interest rates are coming down because they are subsidized for now by manufacturers. This doesn't apply to Toyota or Honda. They don't have issues moving inventory in comparison

I've owned one since 2016, and it's FANTASTIC; best value-for-dollar I've owned, and I've owned 7 from new -- Toyota, Ford, Acura, Honda. (The Acura was superb in quality, though.)

Fyi, they gave me an insane deal even back then -- total $20.3K vehicle, tag, tax & title drive-off for basic trim. ...and that included a few upgrades: roof rack, mud flaps and floor mats.

Would jump on current promotion, but I only have 31K miles on current one.

Comparison In what way, build quality, performance or size? I thing they are different size segments.

I think the reason is that it is late in the model cycle for the CX5. Anecdotally I am seeing a ton of Honda CRV's on the road which also have the hybrid option.
