I installed on a month ago and the firmware has some serious security issues. Also UPNP is broken which affects port forwarding for gaming & bittorrent. If you enable IPv6 (a less common but important feature) , your network will be exposed. And the installed services on the firmware have known vulnerabilities (CVE) which allow script-kiddies to take over the firmware.

I have the 6600E version.
Firmware is not as stable as Asus. But I do think they are very serious.
They do very frequent updates. I think I had at least one update every month minimum.

Does it have as many features as Asus router? Does it have Content Fiiltering/Parental Control? The price is too good to be true Smilie

Does anyone have experience with 5G home plus router from Verizon (later 2023 model… Tall white rectangular prism) dropping signal intermittently? Will an aftermarket router help?

Yes. I bridged the Verizon router to ASUS and it works great. YouTube videos out there to help.

I wonder how MSI's security practices are? It seems like ASUS is doing a decent job of releasing updates when vulnerabilities are discovered. I'm kinda skeptical about MSI in that regard.

Here's the review from last time this was posted.

https://dongknows.com/msi-radix-a...er-review/

Solid deal at $81. I have 2 from Costco and may just return one for this deal. I'd have to turn in my SD membership card if I didn't squeeze every little drop out of these deals.

Yep, I just returned that piece of trash. Got a new Asus router and everything is great. The Verizon router is terrible.

To what advantage? Not everyone lives in a large enough space to warrant a mesh system.
