Except those $200 ones don't auto empty, auto clean mop pads, refill water tank, dry mop pads, lift mop pads on rugs, etc. Those features are huge if you want something that requires less maintenance

these newer ones with the vibrating mop pads or rotating pads that self-clean are very good. Ive had the s7 maxv ultra for over a year, my parents and friends have the q revo and its nothing but praise how much of a game changer they are

Just a heads-up. They just released qrevo maxv which has real camera for object avoidance.
I think it is only available in Malaysia and Singapore for now right? How long does it usually take for it to come to the US market?

The Q Revo MaxV has been available in China for some time, but sold under a different model #. IIRC, it was available even before the Q Revo was released in the US.

Sigh I just bought the Ecovacs TEO (T20) from Costco. So far it is just okay. The phone app is definitely buggy. I don't want to be one of those people, but I almost want to order this and see which one I like better and return the other....

Just commenting that we have This vacuum and it's pretty amazing especially because it vacuums and mops at the same time. The mop does a good job scrubbing and my house has never been cleaner.

Just a fyi to those that care Roborock is a Chinese company. I know they are all probably made in China but obviously it's better for the US to buy from an American company. Not looking to start arguments just a fyi, feel free to ignore.
I pop all of my IOT devices, Chinese or not, onto a guest wifi network that can only access the internet.

I have the Roborock S7 Max - basically feels like you are living in the future. Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Roborock purely for the high-quality app and software, room mapping. You can even block off certain zones after the robot maps a room. It's so so SOOO easy to completely customize. For example, I now have up my Christmas Tree and a train going around it. I drew a line on my phone blocking off the region of the room where the tree is so the robot wouldn't try to go over the tracks/under the tree needlessly, and when I take that done, I'll just remove the block again.

Anyway, while I love my robot vac, it's worth mentioning that it probably isn't worth what I paid ($1100 for mine). I still think $750 is a LOT of money for a robot vacuum. And, while I love them, I still think we aren't quite to the point in the future where they are truly self-autonomous. You still need to go and dump and clean out.

I think the true nirvana future point of robot vacuums in a home is when we integrate water lines and dump lines directly into the wall plumbing, sort of like how you have your laundry room directly plumbed into the walls. Even if you add your own plumbing, I don't know of any robot vac that has that kind of support yet. We definitely are making headway. 3 or 4 years ago, there weren't mopping vacuums that included the dumping and refilling, but yet there is now. The technology is moving fast, and Roborock really is at the forefront.

I should mention I also have a Roomba I keep upstairs in my home, and it is pretty good, but I still think my Roborock is better. Roborock also has a better quiet mode (I assume this Q Revo model does too), which was kind of nice because when vacuuming it will lower it's power and be more quiet, which is kind of nice if say, I am at home for the day and the vacuum starts whilst watching a show, it can keep going and I'll just put it quiet mode and it is MUCH quieter to be tolerable whilst watching something.

This is the one to get. Picked one up on black friday and run it every other day. 1500sf of LVP Floors are always clean. Does surprisingly well on my rug. It will fill half the dust bin on it (have 1 dog). All I have to do is empty/clean/fill large water tanks about once a week and basic cleaning of the rollers. The bottom base is easy to clean (easier than max ultra), the whole thing comes out and you wipe it down and wash it in sink.
The only real difference between this and ultra is the mop style. This has a spin instead of sonic vibrate and has less surface area.

It's a good price when you factor in the extra accessories and the Costco return policy. I got mine on BF for $670 and I'm wondering if it's worth returning to Amazon and buying from Costco.

The vacuum itself has been a godsend.
Exact same boat, contemplating if it's worth the hassle of returning and buying this. So far seems solid

Lifetime is only as long as you maintain your Costco membership. But yes, this is one of the better perks when buying from Costco.
I thought the stop that...in exchange for a 2 year return policy

So I have the S7 MaxV Plus. I want to get another one for the upper floor and need just a vacuum and don't want to spend too much. Which model is good for that purpose?

The Max Ultra and Revo have the same object detection sensors. In this case I'd rather go with the Revo since there are less moving parts to service in the dock
The S7 has improved object detection, plus its mop vibrates instead of spinning. As for my Q Revo, got it on Black Friday and it's been a game-changer. I've got almost 3000 sq ft to clean, and now, no more manual floor washing for me.

Are you referring to the MaxV or the Max? MaxV has the better hardware while the Max's forward sensors are identical to the Q Revo
