I picked this TV up a couple weeks back. Excellent blacks and colors. Football and basketball both look great as does Nintendo Switch (I know, not exactly the pinnacle of video game graphics). Love the picture.

nope you'd have to buy the geeksquad warranty which is worth every penny imo. if you do get burn-in within the geeksquad warranty period, they send someone to your home and check for the burn-in and give you your money back no questions asked, they don't waste your time if something does go wrong.

60fps still looks very smooth in gaming. Only time I wouldn't recommend it is if you were coming from a 120hz screen already. But personally coming from a 60hz TCL, I'd upgrade to this OLED TV over a non-OLED 120hZ.

Almost no one covers burn-in. Burn-in isn't an issue anymore, anyways. People really need to stop bringing it up. Can it still happen? Yes. It's very uncommon now, though. The tech has come a long way in the last few years. These TVs have all kinds of safety features to prevent it. The only way to get burn-in now is to absolutely abuse the TV or to just get one with a bad panel. Every product in existence can have something go wrong with it.

Does anyone know if this TV will work without an internet connection? I prefer my streaming all go through appliances (chromecast/roku/etc), and I really don't like getting interrupted when my TV decides that it's time to upgrade firmware at its convenience.

I've had this TV for about a week. Purchased at the same price. Replaced an F8500 Plasma that finally died after 10 years. I was skeptical but for our use case (bedroom TV for our master), I love this thing. I loved our plasma but after some tweaks, looks great to my eyes. Sound is decent. This plus a shield TV and a Sonos Beam gen2 makes a very good bedroom setup that is wide approved. Recommend.

Yeah, it will work. I don't use the apps on the TV at all, I use a shield TV. You do need an Internet connection to update the firmware. You may also need it to do initial setup as it has you register, accept tons of licenses, etc

edit: also, you can disable automatic firmware updates

Does not have the HDMI 2.1 or 120hz support. For Xbox and PS5 they don't have many games that push 4k 60 let alone 4k 120 so it will work but not give you the fastest possible frame rate for all games at 4k. That said for 99 percent of people it will be fine. It's OLED so latency is crazy low.
For PC I would look elsewhere if you game on a PC. You will be seriously frame rate limited. Cheers! I grabbed one as well for a PS5 bedroom TV.
