Am I correct that my Simply Choice 55+/2 lines for $70 wouldn't quality for this? I don't think this plan ever allows any type of promos. Kinda sucks because I just need one more line added to this but don't want to lose that $70 plan.
Just a heads up - I used the iMessage T-Force (different from the Twitter/X T-Force; iMessage is now international from what I understand while the Twitter T-Force is still US-based) and was told I was eligible for a line.
I got all the way through the process and paid the activation fee when the agent dropped a "We'll need to update your plan code" on me at the last minute. I pushed back and said that was not going to happen. After that, they changed their tune and said they were incorrect and had to change the limit on my plan line so they could add an additional line.
All seems very suspect, so I'll keep waiting on Twitter T-Force to reply.
Edit: They seem to be insistent that I will stay on my current plan so I'm going through with it. I'll update in a moment how screwed I am.
Did you go from 8 lines to 9 lines? On what plan and how many of the previous lines are free?
Put your auto pay method to a prepaid debit card with at least a dollar on it and set a recurring calendar reminder to manually pay your bill with a credit card. Annoying, but it works. They are never getting my bank info with all of their breaches.
But dont you have to pay fees and all that on the pre pay debit card?
Anybody that's fool enough to do this will be spending more time in the Philippines than Manny Pacquiao just trying to get the $30 monthly charge off their bill. 💀

Oneplus promo with 2 paid and one free line (already)?
I have the OnePlus promo with 2 paid lines for $100. I've never been able to add a third free line. I have a smartwatch line for $10 and also added the $10 30GB hotspot line recently. Still don't qualify apparently.

Quit being a hater. I've done 3 of these before and never had any issues. 10 lines on Simple Choice, 3 of them free, $130/month.
