I bought 4 and I'm going to stack them all on the same screen so it will be 1000 lumen for $120
Walmart Free Shipping hack: Order a second, filler item for store pickup. Once the projector ships, cancel the store pickup order (or do nothing and it'll cancel on its own eventually). Don't need to go to the store or return anything.
Curse you OP. I don't even know why I purchased this.

250 lumens is very weak
Keep in mind, its 250 ANSI Lumens which is just shy of 2500 lumens. It's on the lower end of the spectrum but still around the same level of brightness of most sub $200 projectors on Amazon. It's a solid price when you couple in the 1080p resolution(A lot of budget projectors are 720)

I bought a bunch of these to give away. they are cheap but for someone who can't afford a tv this would help them out and its good enough for camping if they can get a battery pack to plug into. Years ago I bought a ton of RCA tablets and gave them to a local school for gifts to be given for Christmas. They were about this price and i know at least 5 people who would use these in their kids room.

True, but if I don't like it, it'll become Wal-Mart's problem.
True and true, but that's PART of the problem. Piling up a scrap heap of useless electronics.
I really have been very tempted to get one of these cheap projectors -- I don't have a super nice projector myself, but it's good. I've tried a few of these as a 'backup' or portable. They are just so frustrating. I want to like them, but I just can't. You get one spot in focus, and 20 other spots go out.

The suggestion of using it for Christmas display/snowflakes, etc...that's not a bad idea.

Or for kids that have generally no strong ability to appreciate real resolution and sharpness (or 1/2 of our family members that can't tell the difference between VHS and BluRay resolutions, or improper aspect ratios). Stick Out Tongue

Just my honest recommendation -- you can find a decent 1080p refurb here or there in the $200-$300 range that is serviceable. $30 for this projector seems fun, but it's $30 less you will have later + the frustration which you cannot put a price on Stick Out Tongue

If you appreciate quality, it's probably just gonna be a waste of $29. That doesn't mean someone is expecting high quality at a low price, it just means you're not gonna be happy with it if you want quality and you're just wasting your time. I've purchased three different low cost projector after setting overwhelming positives, considering price, and I've returned every one of them. One of them I didn't even try because they lied about native resolution.

I literally have this RCA projector sitting next to a JVC D-ILA 1080P projector that was upgraded/calibrated by Faourdja and cost around $30,000 when new. Which one looks better? The JVC/Fourdja. Does the RCA look AMAZING for $29, or even if it were $129? It sure does!

The average 500-800 projector 15 years ago looked about as bad as this at a lower resolution. If you deliberatiley tweak the brightness/contrast and color on this unit it actually is usable with a bit of annoying look to the image but it IS indeed high enough quality for a kid or teenager to play games and watch movies and tv on in a pitch black basement. Or if a person just wanted a big screen experience now and again it also is a smokin hot deal.

As with many cheap displays you need to set the brightness and contrast all wonky to get them to perform anywhere near normal. I had to set my brightness around 85-90, contrast around 20-30, color around 50-55, sharpness around 50, and color temp to warm. I thought the keystone in either direction blurred the lens but it turns out it doesn't do it so much in one direction as the other. It's all a gamble. I am extremely picky about image quality and this will pass for me with some occasional tweaking.

Is this thing really 11.00 x 8.00 x 3.00 Inches (per the description)? I wanted something to take while traveling. But that is a bit bulky for air travel. Thanks.

Hmmm... Projector screen shower curtains. I smell a runaway bestseller - oughta sell like hotcakes to the efficiency apartment segment. I'm off to corner the market!!!🤪

You're trying to tempt me to try another cheap-o projector Stick Out Tongue
HA HA.

I had a Dell Projector before my 1080p ViewSonic. It was very clear. No issues at all with corners or brightness. Clearly it was more expensive, but it had no problems other than not being the best you can get. Never had to mess with settings. Just turned it on, focus, adjust keystone and good to go.

The last two cheap projectors I got were unbearable, with very good ratings. So yeah, I get that people can enjoy them, but the sellers lie about what they can do, and the units are extremely frustrating if you've had something works.

I've met plenty of people that don't care if video quality is horrific, so I can also believe the reviews. I'm game for trying, but I do maintain that even with that in mind, I hate to just be contributing to a waste of materials.

It has a micro SD slot, so I would assume yes you could play files right off SD. However neither youtube review I watched mentioned this.

This is tempting.... sometimes I want to watch sports while I'm doing stuff on the computer or using the TV for something else.

I might pick one up just to take on trips..... the reviews do say the fan is pretty loud though, so putting one right in front of you on your desk might not be a great move.
I got the projector, and no micro sd card I have worked with it. Not sure if it is defect product or the thing is just not working?

I ordered one and got a $10.99 Bluetooth game controller, to try and use with the Onn 4K streamer, as a free shipping filler. It has been a great time for cheap electronics that I bought to give away. But, might end up keeping for myself. I will still have a few days before Christmas, to go out and find replacement gifts.

Maybe it wants a funky format type. Usually devices want FAT or ExFAT, windows always wants to format NTFS by default. See if there is an option to format the card while it's plugged into the projector? If not, try SD Card Formatter and pick ExFAT and see what happens. I had to go this route to get my stupid android tablet to recognize mine.
