Is this the USB plug version or the good one?

I'm guessing this is the good one.
The Navy color / Best Buy one from a couple weeks ago was the good one (i.e. original model 4100 being phased out, not the current "value engineered" 4100 model). Jumped right on it and got new ones and spares for the family. Our experience with the current model has not been great (general solidity, time between charges, durability, etc.). If for some reason you need two speeds and a much more lightweight brush, then the current model might work. Only comparative drawback for the original model IMHO is it's bit more tippy due to the weight.

So confusing that Philips didn't change customer-facing model numbers for these two designs, but I'm sure that a lot of marketing thought went into ensuring that would be the case. The model number of the original can be found in tiny embossed black on black type under the base of the brush and it starts with HX681. I'd tell you what the numbers are on the "improved" model 4100, but we've already tossed ours.
