Tailgating in a parking lot, places where you can't nail in a stake, or if the ground is too hard.

What are the advantages of using this over regular tent stakes? I've seen this deal and trying to justify use cases?

At the beach. Tent stakes would do nothing.

My kids have sporting events on turf. I bought pole weights. If I didn't have those, I'd buy these.

Used this camping on the beach. Filled them and buried a foot down. Stable tent regardless of wind. Very happy with purchase. For the price, I got more. Larger than expected.

It's also really easy to adjust, just pick them up vs bending down, pulling out stakes, hammering in. My back hurts just thinking about it lol

Fwiw you'll often see people use water jugs in parking lots etc where sand isn't readily available, and tent stakes won't work.


Good for beach though or potentially the screw type pegs about all that really holds up from our experience.
