Almost perfect for me. I just need a backlit keyboard.

If you're not opposed to refurbished laptops, and you don't need the latest and greatest, check out DellRefurbished. I got a 2 in one 13 inch Latitude 7390 laptop with an i5 8th gen, 16gb ram and 512 SSD for $275 last year. I'm very pleased, metal build, backlit keyboard and USB c for charging. If you're unfamiliar, only Intel CPUs that are 8th Gen or newer are windows 11 supported, so this qualifies but I've yet to update.

Big plus is that it does not have that horrendous silver keyboard where you can hardly see the key markings.

This is better:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-15-...3186976028

It's $300 now, but was $250 recently. Price fluctuates. Two ram slots that are DDR4, but the i3 smokes the ryzen at single-core, multi-core, and igpu workloads. The igpu on the intel is almost twice as powerful.

The ryzen 7520u is based on zen 2 which is almost 4 years old and a few gens old. Zen 4 is current and zen 4 refresh is coming.

Just FYI.

Latitude 7390.
7 means high end (3 is entry level, 5 is mid range)
3 means 13 inch screen
90 means year 2018 (following years are 00 for 2019; 10 for 2020; 20 for 2021; 30 for 2022)

I bought a refurbished Dell Latitude 7400 in August. That is my first and last refurbished laptop I would buy. There are issues which were not found during the 90 days warranty.

Ryzen 5 7520U is basically a refresh of Zen 2 based Ryzen 3 5300U (4C/8T), but with higher clock speeds, better power efficiency and enhanced iGPU.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks. Thats a good info. I bought a 7290 2 in 1 last year. Still run good, battery is still great. I dont game, just video, browsing. Thought of getting one in next one or two month.

What kind of problem did you got?

Hardware problem: USB connection would disconnect in 15 to 20 min.
Software problems: Windows Bluescreen especially a new SSD drive was installed. I rolled back to the old 256G SSD now.
No sound whenever the driver is updated. I have to go back to 2021 version of sound driver often when the sound issue occurs.

AMD pulled a fast one calling this a "Ryzen 5." Unlike every laptop Ryzen 5 since the 4000 series, this only has 4 cores. Between that and the old Gen 2 architecture, this is slower than a Core i5 or Ryzen 5 from 3 years ago or a Ryzen 3 from 2 years ago.

You can get second-hand ProBooks or EliteBooks with 5600U processors in good condition for $250-300 on eBay. That's a much better buy and will be a more durable computer for the long term.
