I've had one of these for at least 15 years from when they were Hitachi branded. Just used it again last month … couldn't be happier for typical homeowner and light woodworking applications.

Assuming they haven't significantly value analyzed and downgraded the parts over recent years (they look identical), I recommend this fully.

Good brad nailer that usually sells for $50. These were previously Hitachi and were among the highest regarded nailers. The rebranding of such a good name was weird.

We need to buy air compressor to use this right ? I am home owner, just planning to do vinyl flooring ?

Yes, you need an air compressor to use this.

I originally received this as part of a combo with a 6 gallon pancake compressor. That size is a good blend of portability and capacity for smaller nailers and staplers.

Not sure about your vinyl flooring plans - I don't typically think about nailing those down. If you're talking about attaching the subfloor, you would probably want a stapler instead of a nailer.

Oh thanks , I didn't know much. Was trying to go through DIY videos and saw using these nailers for vinyl flooring

Not even worth it nowadays, if you have nothing then to use this you need to buy this a compressor and air hose and an extension cord. Just buy a battery operated one. Also the compressor is loud and annoying to listen too.

This one [harborfreight.com] has been below $20 after coupon several times recently. I bought it nearly 4 years ago and only use it 2-3 per year, but it's still like new. I'd buy it again.
