More weirdness in the Shop Samsung app. Beige color 256GB version of Galaxy tab s9 ultra at $780. Lowest price I've seen.
With EDU discount dropped to $720. Referral code dropped to $699. Could not get $25 first order in app bonus to work with EDU account. I traded in a tab s7 fe which knocked it down only $300 to $399 instead of the listed $500. Already got the email that says cha-ching. Tax for me was $33 in my state. $384 total. Probably not relevant for most, but I signed up for a chase freedom unlimited card for this purchase. $200 off $500 plus 1.5%CB. (I bought some other stuff to reach $500) So around $177.50 for the "upgrade". FedEx label created and shipping soon.
The 1TB model is also $1053 but EDU discount is larger and knocks it down to $972. The 512GB model also acting strangely. Full $1320 price, but EDU kicks it down to $1056. Not as good as the 1TB one.
Prices only show in the Shop Samsung app. Not the desktop or mobile website.

Using EDU account, 256GB is shown at $720 from $1200.
$720/$1200=0.6. That's means edu account gives 40% off.
If you trade in any device (I have s7+ which website is valued at $500 as an example), then
($1200-$500) x 0.6 = $420. That's an decent deal but I don't really need to upgrade.
For any other device, essentially it's real trade in value is also only at 60% of the listed price.
Why app 25$ off not working?
