It had me locked in the whole time plus I thought the cinematography was great. But I like war movies.
Off the top of my head. This, Dunkirk, hacksaw ridge, and all quiet on the western front were all good war movies that came out semi recently.

The running at the end was the best scene imo. Although it's one continuous scene.
That adds to the epicness of that scene.
