Two children should fit fine, but you would need a bigger one to squeeze in two adults. Most likely legs would be hanging outside.
I just got my 800 delivered from Best Buy. It's free install, but I told them just to leave it and I'll install it myself. It might take me some extra time, but I can't stand how many shortcuts these outsourced third party install services use when they are contracted for install.
Great price for Bosch dishwasher that includes delivery and installation. If you buy it from other places like BB, HD, Lowes, there is usually a $150-$200 installation charge.

Is this just as all stainless steel inside just like the 800 series? Or less so?

Wondering the same thing! Doesn't look s/s from the photo.

Can I ask what is the purpose of a rinse only cycle?
So I can give the dishes extra rinse

Had a Bosch for about a year, never had luck with getting dishes dry. Tried all the recommendations, but Bosch does not have the drying element and ended up getting rid of it for a KitchenAid. So, if you want your dishes dry, I wouldn't recommend a Bosch,....quiet, yes, but I shouldn't have to dry stuff with a towel coming out of the dishwasher

It depends on rinse aid to sheet most of the water off, and circulates fresh air through to lower the moisture level inside the dishwasher.

I have an older Bosch that does this and everything except plastics come out dry. We don't mind it at all and the washing performance of the machine far outclasses the lack of drying plastics.
Thank you. This doesn't work for me. It is extra work I want to avoid. I am surprised Bosch sells a dishwasher without heating element to dry dishes. It's 2023/24 may be not in Germany 😜 . I want my dishes to come out hot and dry. The heating also kills bacteria. This model is not hygienic to me. It is almost like the bartender washing glasses in two water buckets first one yucky one and second supposed to be clean lol 😆

Dishwasher Installation

Everyone getting same message?

You don't want the people these big boxes use installing anything in your home. Dishwasher install is pretty straight forward.

I just had Costco installation of a Bosch 800. The installer did awesome. My dishwasher was hardwired and he added a receptacle. He installed for numerous sellers.

Bosch is a little weird like that. I don't believe most DWs need anything special for a hardwired install, but Bosch specifically requires an extra box because it has a proprietary power inlet instead of straight wires.

Couldn't agree more with this. The installers that came for my 800 told me that they install everything. Not just appliances, but TVs, vanities, countertops, etc.

These installers know the bare minimum and will always prioritize speed over quality as they have like 15 installs to do in a day. You will always do better doing it on your own.

Condensation drying is way more popular than you likely realize. I think Whirlpool is one of the only remaining manufacturers that have a heating element? Could be wrong, but I'm very sure the number offering a heating element at all decreases by the day.

It has a rinse cycle, but it doesn't have a heating element. You need to use a liquid rinse aid to ensure the dishes come out dry.

It does not have a rinse ONLY cycle/option

I have noticed with most appliances, if you have a problem under warranty it becomes your problem, because companies won't honor the warranty. How is Bosch warranty? Is it actually worth the paper it is written on?

As a tip you 100% should use rise aid (I bought industrial and make my own for $1 a bottle), and I also use Cascade complete liquid and put a shot in the tub with the regular pod and that dramatically keeps the dishes clean. A 120 oz bottle easily lasts over a year for $12, and is the best "pre-rinse" I have found and takes a few seconds.
Just wanted to give one alternative opinion.
As a physician, I recommend my families AGAINST Rinse Aid.

There is evidence it can lead to gut dysregulation, which is a theory in which we see more allergic diseases.

I know what you mean! I do not get anything installed, after having a couple of experiences with this "free installation" crap.
