Two children should fit fine, but you would need a bigger one to squeeze in two adults. Most likely legs would be hanging outside.
I just got my 800 delivered from Best Buy. It's free install, but I told them just to leave it and I'll install it myself. It might take me some extra time, but I can't stand how many shortcuts these outsourced third party install services use when they are contracted for install.
Great price for Bosch dishwasher that includes delivery and installation. If you buy it from other places like BB, HD, Lowes, there is usually a $150-$200 installation charge.

I just pull out all the racks after it's done, and the water evaporates nicely. Sometimes you get a few drops on plastic, but nothing more than what a shake or two will remove

This is a horrible dishwasher... the 3rd rack and the bottom rack are always falling off
Appliance repair has been out twice and apparently this is the design intent, to break dishes.

You could probably fit both children (depending on their age), but I doubt any adult would fit, let alone all at the same time.

Yeah, but neither does my GE. It's much less common than it used to be, given improvements in detergents. If you want rinse maybe just do the light/express cycle and don't put detergent in.

I read the study quickly. First it was in commercial dishwashers in a specific 30-60 second cycle not a home dishwasher and the dose was high which may be true in say a hobart/etc.

This was also a gut on chip and cursory at most.

Now I am not saying there isn't anything there, but this is one study and just came out. So not sure if you are chiming in or not because you are vested but if it bothers you great but unless there is some real data out there and FDA action then I would say this is not necessarily a smoking gun for a home user.
Yeah, this builds on previous data we have seen, there is a large amount of data that shows that laundry detergent for example can cause cell dysfunction.

I think we are still very early but for optional things like Rinse Aid, esp for my patient population (pediatrics), not worth it.

Same with microplastics. I avoid plastic bottles in bottle warmers as they leech microplastics. While the FDA hasn't clamped down, I think we are very early.

Then you are rinsing with dirty water. Do you know how a dish washer works

It doesn't have a third rack. Are you even talking about the same model?

I don't know how noise level became more important than how a well dishwasher washes and dries dishes…

I just bought a whirlpool after almost buying a Bosch. I highly recommend going to a store and looking at them the cheaper brands are stainless steel, adjustable 2nd rack, has 3rd rack, and the tub is a lot bigger. Seemed dumb to pay more for a dw with less features and doesn't clean and dry as well

The problem with hanging any dish towel on a dishwasher handle is that the towel hits the floor every time you open the door.

Not sure about the 100 series, but 800 series has a connection kit that you can choose either hard wire or a plug type.
