Here's a review on it. My summary, good low light, good image quality, okayish sound, great AI detections. Can be linked to alexa or google to turn things on when it detects a person. The notifications with a thumbnail are behind a paywall which is lame. But $30 for a camera with ai people, vehicle, pet notifications + ai sound detection (breaking glass) WITHOUT a monthly subscription, pretty good.

FYI. If you have a Kasa camera and the Kasa cloud subscription for it, Tapo does not recognize that and tries to get you to pay for the Tapo cloud storage.
All but one of my cameras have slots for microSD local storage. So anytime I have to review footage for that camera, I have to use the Kasa app for that.
Also the Tapo app will not allow you to keep your view on for more than a few minutes. I keep a couple of cheap tablets by my desk when I'm working from home, so I can watch for deliveries in the front and watch my dogs when they're outside. Kasa works fine for that most of the time, but Tapo just stops after 5 minutes and pops up a window asking if you want to continue.
Overall, I like the Kasa and Tapo devices, but the Tapo app is missing some features that the Kasa app has
How are these compared to wyze. I'm looking at switching to a different cam set up.

The tapo app needs work, it updated not long ago and its a litte better. But sometimes it wont load or playback unless i stop app and clear cache. I have a 320ws and the picture is great a little better than eufy but eufy app is more responsive.

Does this have a cool down time between notifications? I have a Wyze cam without a subscription, and the cool down is 5 minutes.

The review showed a cooldown of less than 1 minute. Not sure what the official specs are

In my experience, the alerts (person, pet) are very good, and very few false positives. The exception is when it's rainy outside. Then I get a ton of false positives.

I haven't tried this model though.

Wired, USB c with a rubber gasket making it mostly waterproof. There was a review saying theirs died in the rain and was $15 shipping for the warranty replacement. I'd keep it under a roof of some kind
