54% increase from 2019 doesn't seem very slick to me.

Just an FYI. I bought the chrome ones last year when they were on sale. They are not high quality at all. The welds are horrible and one shelf (so far) broke at the weld when assembling. I've had other brands of this style that area very heavy duty, these are not. I kept them and they are fine for storing boxes in the basement, but keep your expectations low.

Costco wire shelving is taller and deeper, and is 800 lbs./shelf vs. 350 lbs./shelf on leveling feet.

Why do people compare to Costco and Sams Club? These are membership shops that require a fee to join so for non members it's not a valid comparison. Do slickdealers join these membership clubs like them just in case a deal comes along?
Same can be said for Amazon Prime, right?

Possibly, but you don't need Prime to get a good deal, you might just pay for shipping. No matter what I can't get a Costco item.

I don't believe that is true. Before I had a Costco membership, I could order online items for a small additional fee. Or I could purchase a day pass at the warehouse. This was 5 years ago, so I'm not sure if these options are still available for non members.

The Costco ones this size have shelf liners but no wheels and are $5 cheaper. At least in store. Looks like the Costco ones weigh 6 more pounds, so probably better.

Recently ordered 3 of these to fit in the closet under my stairs. This one has wheels and is shorter than the costco rack. We needed this height specifically. If you do order these make sure to check your parts. 1/3 had bent shelves without any exterior packaging problems. The defects would have been enough for me to send them back, but my wife was content even with it slightly askew. These fit 2 of the costco greenmade clear tubs side by side on the shelves perfectly.

pretty small for the price. The 72" versions of these come up regularly for around this price or less, so the only interesting thing here is the casters

What was the title of this post on SD? I have a deal alert set for 'shelves' and missed this!!
You'd be better served with "shelving" for these freestanding shelving units. "Shelves" will get you more wall-mounted options.

this is a decent deal as the metal wheels for a set sells for $15-20 and the shelf for about $40.

I am tempted by this, but I just bought some Origami folding shelves. On top of that, these are only a bit cheaper than variants I bought in the past but had to discard due to lack of space in moving vehicles. With a move coming up, I rather buy bins than shelves. Sure, my place will look cluttered with bins but not like I have friends over anyways.
