Costco (in warehouse only) has this Extreme 50 FT AWG 12/3 SJEOOW extension cord for sale now - $39.99.

Best flexible extension cord (basically the US Wire brand, made in the USA), SJEOOW. If you just want a cheap (lower quality, less flexible) extension cord, this is NOT for you. There are plenty of cheap SJTW cords out there.

SJEOOW indicates:
SJ - Service Junior rated at 300 VAC
E - Thermoplastic Elastomer
OO - Oil-resistant insulation and outer jacket
W - Weather-resistant for outdoor use

Here is the lighted end.
It is generally recommended to use one long extension cord instead of daisy chaining two shorter extension cords. Your cords are SJTW cords, which could be stiffer in really cold weather.

It's at this price for my store in metro Denver, CO.

Though I think the 2x 30ft yellow lighted cords for $30 is a better deal than this green 50ft one at $40. Also at my local store. Both are 12/3 and lighted. I'm not sure about the other ratings though.

You won't hate using this one whenever it's cold.

How is this better than the 2 x 30' foot extension cords for $25? Seems like a far better deal and much more versatile, being able to use them separately or combined for a total of 60'. https://slickdeals.net/f/17130862-select-costco-stores-2-pack-prime-wire-30-12-3-gauge-sjtw-extension-cord-availability-may-vary

Others here already stated that the 2 pack of 30' cords Costco sells for $25 are still flexible in the cold. https://slickdeals.net/f/17130862-select-costco-stores-2-pack-prime-wire-30-12-3-gauge-sjtw-extension-cord-availability-may-vary

I have them. By flexible, it's like yeah, you can still bend them but you end up with a giant ball trying to wind them back up in the cold.

Copper wire not discussed; why? Also, more strands=more flex.

What is the item# please?

edit: found it in the screenshot...smh unintuitive mobile UI.
fyi for the NJ folks, I chatted with support and the only warehouse that has it in the state is Teterboro apparently. I went and got it few days ago at $40. It's basically right next to the prime line (?) ext cords. The packaging though is a bit inconspicuous, I almost passed it by without realizing. Had a pallet-ful of them when I was there.

Yeah I bought the 2x 30ft 12/3 for $30, much better deal, $10 less, 5ft more. Couldn't really tell a difference between them in quality

Quote from eiei :
Costco extension cables are notorious for premature failures. First, molded plug & socket will separate from cable jackets within few months in the shelf storage. This probably is a reason why Costco puts them in the clearance bin (price marked as x 97). Once cable separation is fixed, then user will notice failures in the plug and socket itself. They not cheap to replace, once cables are dissambled, one wii see why it fails so quick. Contacts are made out of ultra cheap useless aluminum in lieu of cooper or brass as it should be, home depot's or DollarTree's 0.99 cents extension cord are made with usable materials.
We used buy an extension cable, one for one's lifetime. Costco is so much controlled by Wall Street junkies Black Rock and etc. it's becoming a disgrace for all Americans who used to be proud of buying good old American products.
Grammarly what?

SJTW is stiff below freezing temps and sucks to work with...otherwise it is fine at normal temps. Personally, I use 100ft 12/3 froghide ultraflex...

99050AIV1, as seen in the 2nd product photo. 99050 is the same number used for US Wire products. 99 indicates the 12 AWG and 50 refers to the length.

The sign says sale for $24.99 ended on 12/24/23. Do you know if it's back up to $30 now?

YMMV. My Costco (CO) had the Prime Wire (2 x 30ft cords) on sale for $19.99 that ended on 12/24/23. The asterisk symbol on the price sign means it is NOT being restocked. If there are still many in stock in the store, your Costco might do a sale again in near future or a manager's special deal (usually ends with .97).
