Just a heads up, there's no way to turn these on manually and have them stay on longer than 1 minute, without first disabling motion detection in the app.

When I bought these you could just turn them off and back on and they'd stay on. I had it in my garage where my work bench is blocked from the sensor. 90% of the time we just need the lights to come on to get in the car or our freezers, but 10% of the time I'm working in the garage and need the light on for more than a minute.

Anyway, long story short they changed the firmware after I bought them and there's no way to manually override the motion sensor outside of the app.

The coupon is single use per order, so you can place multiple orders if you need more than one.

They can via homebridge or home assistant. I run homebridge in a simple vm on my pc to convert non HomeKit devices to HomeKit and and my iPad acts as a homehub though not required.

No it's virtual box which creates the vm in software and emulates the entire hardware environment. It's the recommend vm by them actually and there is a container option I believe if that's your thing.

What's the benefit of that?
As for OPs deal, it's a good price, considering dumb motion switches are more expensive. I wonder if this works ad hardware motion switch without neutral wire.. Though I don't want to get dimmer since the lights are plugged in and switch controls outlets.

I don't know a lot about the motion switches. If I am gone on vacation and want the light to stay on, can I override the motion activation? If so, is that on the switch itself or through the Kasa app only?

Not sure about this switch, but my Kasa on/offs and dimmers offer an "away" function that will randomize on/off cycles between certain times of the day. Depending on where your light is, "always on" potentially doesn't offer any deterrence, as it won't take long for someone to realize a light is always on, which may be more of an indication that no one is home to turn it off versus having it randomly clicking on/off throughout the evening, which is a more likely indicator that someone may be home.

Does anyone know if the motion sensor shows up as an entity in home assistant? Or is it just a switch and on and off function

Do you mean without a neutral wire or without a ground wire?
