I was gong through my spam and noticed an email from "Verizon Class Action Settlement Administrator", of course it looked like spam but I decided to open it anyway. The body of the email layed out the lawsuit where Verizon lost and is liable for $100 million. It goes on to say that the records shows I was a customer between 2016 and 2023, which qualifies me. Before clicking on the link to file the claim, I searched "Verizon Class Action Settlement" and it was all over the net from legit sources. I clicked on one of the links and brings me to a short page that required a "Notice ID" and a "Verification Code" which were both in my email. Upon enetering the details, My full name and address and account number populated (data from Verizon).
I filled out a few other things and received an confirmation email. Not sure how much I'll get but $100 is max.
Must be filed by April 15th 2024.
Edit: This only applies to Verizon Wireless customers only.

"Your Settlement Payment may be up to $100.00 for your Verizon account, but the final amount may be lower depending on how long you were a Verizon subscriber and how many Settlement Class Members file valid claims. Specifically, there will be an initial minimum allocated amount of $15.00 for your account plus $1.00 for each month your account received postpaid wireless or data services from Verizon and was charged and paid an Administrative Charge and/or an Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge between January 1, 2016 and November 8, 2023, up to a maximum initial allocated amount of $100.00. If the Settlement Fund is not sufficient to pay all the filed valid claims after deducting any Court-approved amounts for the cost of settlement administration, attorneys' fees and costs, and incentive awards to the class representatives, then the payments made to the Settlement Class Members who filed valid claims will be decreased from the initial allocated amount on a pro-rata basis."
Hope this helps clarify for some people.

I've been with them for over 20 years and this may be the most I got from them! LOL
What ever happened to the CRT monitor class action lawsuit years ago? Did people ever get paid? I know it was delayed for a long time.

This is bullcrap. You won't get a penny. When T-Mobile was breached, they asked by the court that we will get some money, but after filed the form, there was no follow up. They will use these form as proof of affected users. The money the court rewarded will never reach your pocket, but definitely to these lawyers pockets.
Well how about the Vitamix class action?
Is there a site to track them all?

Bigger question is how much did Verizon TAKE. Lawyers can be scum but corporate lawyers are generally scummier and they also get paid to set up scams for companies and defend those scams. It's not like Verizon would voluntarily return and/or compensate unless there were tort attorneys willing to gamble money and years to go up against the corporate mafiosos.
Just go to your trash folder and find it…or are you one of the freaks who immediately jumps to the trash folder and empties that too???
Yes I am 😬

It does not apply to other Verizon products or services (e.g., FiOS).
Thanks
