I used to love Cici's as a teenager. Now in my mid 30s, I go about once a year to remind myself why I only go once a year. After my most recent visit (and my local store is probably the nicest & cleanest one in the whole company - a germophobe owns it) I think I'm finally going to cease my annual visits. No bad experiences, just tired of the terrible food quality. Cheapest ingredients imaginable, "high gluten" dough, watered down ranch, broccoli always starting to mold. Not to mention you always feel like crap every time you leave regardless of how full (or not) you get. The only pizza really worth it there is the flatbread-like pizzas they sometimes serve simply because it's less crappy dough, but it still has the crappy toppings. I finally learned my lesson and added it to my 'banned' list. I'm sure most people (especially those with kids) will disagree with me and that's fine (not trying to be the diabetes guy in the soda thread), just giving my two cents for anyone not familiar with them.
Pizza buffets are a dying breed. Only reason I enjoy going to cicis is to remind me how awesome Pizza Hut *used* to be.
Get the whole team together after a win and storm Pizza Hut at lunch time. Managers would panic and say "MORE PEPPERONI! MORE SAUSAGE!" as we poured in the door.
I feel like it depends on the location. There's a few near me, and some are good while others are worse quality. I will say their pizzas are very oily, but you can ask them to make any pizza free of charge (like Flatbread), which is a plus.

U just made me not try it. I know it be expensive to eat a good pizza but I don't want to ruin pizza for me
Domino's is my go-to cheap pizza. No, I don't live anywhere near the Northeast nor do I have hundreds of awesome pizza joints nearby. Every Domino's store has different deals but *most* follow the corporate deals - 2x 2-topping medium pizzas for $6.99 each (must buy 2+). Or if you're like me and love the Brooklyn crust, many stores offer a large 5-topping for $11.99 in their coupon section on the website. The best sale they have though is the 50% off menu price which is done roughly every 2-3 months. This is the best time for a Brooklyn large or any specialty in any size. Stack these deals with 25% (sometimes 30%) off Domino's gift cards at Sam's Club and you've got some damn cheap *good* pizza. For example, using the most popular 2x 2-topping medium deal for $6.99 each, if you get the gift cards for even just 25% off, that makes each pizza $5.24 before tax. Even Leetle Scissors can't beat that anymore with one less topping. And anyone who claims LC is better than Domino's needs locked up and the key pulverized to dust. Their taste buds are fubared or they haven't been to either since 1972.

You get stuck with ONE flavor at Domino's though. Variety is worth it, especially since this is $5 and the cheapest Pizza Domino's sales is $7.99 with a coupon. You get salad, pasta, pizza, sides, and desert at Cicis.
Well technically you can do a half and half pizza, and most people do the 2x $6.99 deal, so that's 4 people/flavors. You can swap a pizza for a dessert, salad, sandwich, etc. if that's your angle. I get your point, but there are ways of getting variety, not just "ONE flavor" like you stated.

I'm assuming people are not eating by themselves. So yeah, 2 different items for 6.99 each. Depending on how you order, you could end up with three items (rewards).
I don't tend to do deserts at a pizza buffet or order this type of stuff from a pizza place.

Yeah, and I'm assuming you're still getting the full points on those orders with the discounted cards. That would technically mean you're getting the pizzas for less than 5.24.
No one said Dominos is fantastic pizza, it's just ok until you go for pan but nobody can touch their deals. Not as much of a deal (it's in the ballpark) but if you have a Marco's around you should try it. It's sort of like Dominos if it had a lot more cheese on it.

Yup. I forgot about their rewards, good point. Domino's isn't fantastic, but it's arguably the best mega chain out there. At least they make the dough in-store and don't serve frozen discs cooked in a dirty re-used pan that has about 5x too much oil in it. Looking at you Hut.
I do like Marco's, but it's hard to justify those prices when I can eat Domino's 4x for the same price after stacking GCs, coupons, and rewards.
I have fond memories of cicis. My kids were always excited to go. And the pizza! What can you say. I mean it was better than the overcooked spaghetti. Well, not really. The cheesy bread was ok and a fresh dessert pizza could actually taste good (shockingly). But my kids always liked it, and I always got heartburn, so there you go. Worth it.
Where? I need some of that, and for KFC to bring back their buffet too !!
Just depends on your location, I guess. As far as KFC, it's funny -- there's a dedicated Facebook group of people looking for KFC buffets too lol. Apparently there are only like 6 or 7 left in the US.
