Had one, and it serves its purpose. But man, the bounce on these is real. People walking by will make it bounce, make sure you have stabilization turned on.

This is a stand used for mounting on a stationary position. If you watch people's video with bounce, you need to bounce!

If you use this as a regular tripod, you're missing the whole point. Use a mini tripod for that. This is most useful for wrapping around a railing, tree branch, etc. And when you do, it's stable to keep it from falling, but not stable for still video filming. Even as a tabletop tripod, it's not without significant bounce.
