You must have missed the "standard dewalt blades" comment, which I was responding to, not "specific jobs".
Can anyone figure out what the breakdown of blades is? Looks like only 3 wood bits and the rest metal from the pic. I didn't see the breakdown on HD site.

The customer reviews on the HD site give a good breakdown of what's included.
If your cutting alot of metal, mayybe go on Ebay click lowest price, and buy lenox blades, seeing fresh blades with a spot of rust on them dirt cheap!, they last 4 times as long cut twice as fast in some situations! they are the best by far
I'm a weekend warrior and my HF blades last me years. That said, these are name brand blades for the same price. That extra long wood blade is my tree pruning blade/Xmas tree blade
like others have said, these are your basic blades. Better than no-name for sure.
However, based on the picture it looks like only 3 out of 19 are wood blades? Unless you are going to be doing a lot of metal cutting, the balance between wood/metal is all wrong. I'd say there needs to be 12 wood at least.
And if you're doing a lot of metal cutting, you may want to look into a portaband.
How much better are these than the standard DeWalt ones I've been burning through?
Probably the same press machine and metal that china uses...I always thought the Lenox ones were the better of them all.. Milwaukee has really gone down hill the last couple years

Oh get over yourself. Nowhere did he say you should use a wood cutting blade on metal. Douche
