As far as the aerodyne jazz bass note, I thought it was worthwhile because that's $130 less than their other aerodyne prices right now. In fact, I think it might be a price mistake -- they had all their aerodynes at $519.20 when I checked reverb today, but those prices changed to $649 when I clicked through to the "buy" page.
That said, this is the second cheapest deal right now on a new or mint Fender electric guitar that includes free shipping (looking at reverb, adorama email price, proaudiostar, and standard retailers). The least expensive right now being Amazon's duo-sonic deal (and that one is new and with a warranty). Around and prior to Black Friday, proaudiostar had half a dozen sub-$500 used/mint Fender electric models in their inventory. Lately, they've been slow to price anything below $519. Through the next couple of months I expect some more super cheap prices. After that, though, I expect things will go up and up.
Hmmm. i thought they had more than one of this monstrosity. Their website says: "Please Note: We have multiples of this item available and selling them individually. The pictures are representative of the one you will get. They will come in their factory box and excellent condition with no factory warranty."
I will decide if it's something I want to buy or not and will never downvote someone for sharing a deal.
If I choose not to buy it I will just move on.

On Fender Player series guitars in particular, there are regular appearances of new Player series Teles and Strats for sub-$550, with the factory warranty, in colors that aren't hideous. It's not an "every day" kind of thing, but they do appear. (Just search "Fender Player" to see a summary.) $480 for a "used" one that's ugly with no warranty doesn't resonate much.
