Doesn't say nonstop, so looking at march dates for the $999 pp option:
JFK assuming 1stop, flight ~500/p with TAP/turkish and other similar players or ~800/p with British airways/lufthansa/etc. tier airlines
2 nights of accommodations at Leonardo Royal Hotel Venice Mestre or similar in Venice ~95/nt
2 nights of accommodations at PopApartment (studio apartment) or similar in Florence ~91/nt
2 nights of accommodations at Hotel Pineta Palace or similar in Rome ~130/nt
Rail from Mestre to Florence (tourist class), Rail from Florence to Rome (tourist class) - no idea what tourist class is but looks to be about $25/ea for business class. So $100 for this

So rough calculation of 1750-2350 for $1998, Maybe a deal if they use the bigger airlines, but if you're doing this anyway, seems easy enough to book your own and save

Just got back from Rome/Florence/Venice two days ago. The place is swarming with tourists, and I wouldn't even think of doing this in the summer. 2 days per city is fine, although rushed.

Did a similar trip this past summer. Yes, tourists EVERYWHERE.

One thing to note with this package - these hotels are not very close to most of the places you will want to see. Consider not only the cost to get to the city center but also the lost time each day.
This is key. Would additional $50 each day give better location 'and' comfort ?

Could not have said it better. I didn't realize the goal was to check the box on as many sites as possible. Who wants quality when you can have quantity!!!

I booked a deal from boston to milan in SAS for $370. Seems booking trip separately is way cheaper and gives more flexibility

You can't go back in time, but I traveled in early 2023 (purchased in 2022) a 9-night/3-city Italy trip for $799/person. Airfare, inter-city transfers, hotel stays, and city walking tours were included.

But some of the "COVID special" travel deals will likely never return.

Don't travel to Europe in summer; the last two years of record-setting heatwaves should have been clue enough for people to avoid high season.

Given the modest amount of time in each city, be aware that these hotels are on the outskirts of the popular neighborhoods (the one in Venice is not even in Venice but the adjacent city) so it'll take you some time to get to the sights.

Watch the locations of the hotels. The venice hotel is in the city- not on the island where you want to be. The Rome hotel is almost in the suburbs. Is a 7km walk from the pantheon and the cool areas of Rome.

I think 2 days is plenty for Rome, all you really need to see is the Colosseum+ Forum which will take up 4 hours, trevi and pantheon which will take an hour. You can even squeeze in the Vatican

The reviews say that these are just vouchers and the actual price of the trip is a lot more and agency just deducts the voucher value.

Any thoughts?

I'm guessing that's got to be true because the price on their website changes depending the day/month you pick.

Most reviews are either 5 stars or 1 stars....
