Bought subs yesterday and 72 points were applied on my account history with WINTERBOGO as the transaction type rather than "Purchase". That's a very slick deal!
BOO! I live in a moderate sized city and have some delis around, however, JM is one of my favorite subs! I agree that subway is awful!!! I would actually rather have a pre-made sub at my local grocery store!
It's a lifetime number. Mostly small mom and pop shops, but I get sandwiches in every town I visit.
Snarfs and Potbellies are consistently good, Fozzie's and a bunch of STL local places are good. Jimmy Johns and P'Sghettis are surprisingly good (though JJ has gone downhill and prices up lately). Goodscents was terrible but is closed near me. Schnucks and Dierbergs make comparable (okay) sandwiches. Which Wich is excellent but dropped the Thank you Turkey (Thanksgiving on bread!) and is almost $20 for a large sandwich now.
The Hill neighborhood in St. Louis has more than twenty places you can get sandwiches alone. A couple trips a month to the neighborhood for client lunches can add up.
I'm an eater, I guess.
No way in hell Jimmy John's has ever been better than Jersey Mike's. Jimmy John's throws sandwiches together so they can get it from one side of the counter to the register. Jersey Mike's is the ONLY franchise deli I've ever been to that slices your deli meat/cheese as ordered.
I moved to the South from Cali and it missed real delis. It's gotten better but easier to get franchise sometimes. Only thing better than Jersey Mike's is Schlotzsky's
Seems I'm in the minority here, but felt compelled to reply.
I've been to one JM - a newish location in Framingham, MA. I went twice. The first time was terrible - soggy bread, sparsely filled, and expensive. Since I thought this may have been a one time event since lots of people like JM, I went again about a month later. Still expensive, still lacked filling, but at least it wasn't soggy. Never again.
Even in the metrowest area of MA, there are dozens of sub shops that are way better than JM, and half the price. I'm looking at you, Lola's!
You are up North with plenty of deli options. The odds of a deli chain being impressive is VERY low. My mother was from NY and we used to go to this small deli in Cali with amazing deli meat/cheese. We moved to the South from Cali when I was young in the 90s and it was horrible - some people didn't even know what pastrami was. Blimpie still existed back then and was actually Blimpie- I finally got to try it and understand why my mother never ate Subway in Cali. Delis have grown A LOT with people bringing them from out of state but it's great to have a chain close by. My grandparents moved down south from NY after retirement and Jersey Mike's became their deli chain to eat at after I introduced them so I know I wasn't settling for crap
Sorry if others have already confirmed this, but my birthday was on the 7th. I used my points AND ordered a sub for my wife. I received the 72 points about an hour or so after my order was placed. Not sure if just redeeming a free or birthday sub would disqualify you, but if you order something else along with a free sub, you WILL still get the credit.
These big-sized jersey mikes subs are expensive but tasty. I think Jimmy Johns is a better sub for $13 as opposed to $18.
Another option is Publix subs, if you live down south. The $5.99 Turkey full sized sub was an incredible last week and there's a weekly deal on them (this week is $7.99 Ultimate sub (Tavern ham, OvenGold turkey, roast beef, cheese). You can't beat Publix's quality, size, and value.
Thanks for posting this deal though, I'll probably do it.
I like Publix, but I don't get the cult following the place has. It's a good sub with good ingredients and not a bad price but I won't go out of my way for it.

I get them in the mail all the time and I didn't think I could use them for the app.
