Price is normally $450 from any of the big box hardware stores, not sure why Amazon is inflating them.

Still >$100 off normal price. Good deal.

Price jumped up to $449 as I was about to check out! Supposedly this particular model is made in China and not in the USA if that matters to anyone.

was anybody able to get it at that $336 price?

Worlds better and will last longer, but the old days of Webers lasting 20+ years are long gone. Mine's pretty rusted out and warped after 7-8 years. So at least twice the life of the budget brands, and much better cooking.

Whenever I click the link the sale price matches the sale price but after adding it to cart and checking out the sale price is no longer there.

I believe only the Summit line of gas grills include models made in the USA. I had thought some of the Genesis line were US made, but the current information on their website seems to indicate otherwise. I could swear I saw a Made in USA label on a Genesis grill last year and so perhaps this is a recent change.

I have a Ducane propane grill that is a little over 20-years and still going strong. Ducane filed for bankruptcy in 2003 and was acquired by Weber in 2004. I guess the expression "they don't make them like they used to" applies here. I'm not sure what I will replace the Ducane with when it dies; maybe Weber or Broil King.

There's been ymmv deals for finding them in brick and mortar stores for like 250$ in the past. This was the best I've seen generally available and it only lasted like 10 min before amazon fixed it.
