The scents usually fade after a bit anyway, and it's the smoothness that I'm after, so I started making my own sugar scrubs.
It's a LOT more cost effective, and you only need granulated sugar and oil. I do a 4-1 ratio of sugar to oil, but you can experiment. I like using scented coconut oil from Sam's Club ($0.16/oz is the best deal there is I think)
Great for if you work out and have callused palms. Or if you use the sugar scrub before/after shaving to be extra smooth.
