Bug Bite Thing Insect Bite and Suction Tool Control | 1051494
Product Description:
Bug Bite Thing is a suction tool that extracts insect saliva/venom from under the skin to help alleviate the itching, stinging and swelling that occurs with bug bites and stings. When you remove the irritant, your body stops producing the reaction that is causing the uncomfortable symptoms. Unlike topical creams and ointments, the problem is eliminated, not masked. In particular, there is nothing "clinically proven" about the product. Per the RadioLab segment linked above, there was a single internal study commissioned by the company released only to advertisers and distributors; it had no placebo or control of any kind.

this sucks lol didnt work for me or kids. its better to put my mouth on the bite and suck. better method is to get a cup of steaming hot water and put spoon in it. when spoon is hot, tap around bite area repeatedly till itch is gone. the heat stings a bit at first but worth it to no longer itch.

My family has been using this for years and we live in one of the mosquito capitals of the world. It works each and every time with all sorts of bites and it also works just as well if you do it several hours after the bite. The key is to center it perfectly over the bite, get a strong suction and keep the suction going for 10 to 20 seconds. For bad bites, we occasionally do it twice. The itch goes away almost immediately. It is so quick and easy that in the summer, it ends up away from our first aid drawer and in our living room. I would have grabbed a few more at this price, but it's 8 bucks near me.
